ALBUS Design designed this summer house located on Sailor’s Island, Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, to receive the family and guests of the homeowner.
Looking for unique pieces, the architect Henrique Steyer traveled to São Paulo, from where most of the furniture was brought. From visiting the international furniture fair in Milan, Italy, came the inspiration of using an acrylic sideboard besides the white couch. On the garden, imposing 5’2″ light fixtures serve as beacons for the guests arriving on boats. Wide balconies and a deck equipped with a barbeque pit can comfortably fit a large crowd in party days.
