If you love non-traditional ways of creating art, Steve Spazuk‘s work is sure to wow you. Using a technique called fumage, Spazuk uses a flame to create a trail of soot, which he then sculpts using a variety of tools, from knives and paintbrushes to feathers. His work varies from small images to huge and incredibly lifelike portraits made up of a mosaic of sheets of paper, and he is particularly fascinated by the human body. Given the unpredictability of the medium he uses, Spazuk is very open to being spontaneous and works with whatever shapes come his way.
